The idea of the founding of the church was birthed on October 10, 2014. I was called by God to do His work on October 10th, 2014, while driving along with a friend, Rita Tamba, in Monrovia City, Montserrado County, Liberia. WHILE DRIVING THAT FATEFUL DAY, A HAND WITH THE WELL KNOWN NAIL MARK IN IT, APPEARED ACROSS MY WINDSHIELD. I immediately remarked to my friend sitting across from me like this, bah what kind of nonsense you doing so? She replied "what nonsense"? I said in response, why are you putting your hands over my windshield while I am driving? You want me to have an accident? She in turned replied that, are you out of your mind? Can my hand stretch from where I am sitting to reach over to your side? After a while, the hand appeared for the second time, in which time I fully recognized the NAIL MARKED HAND OF JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and Savior. It didn't end there.

The recognition that it was the precious hand of Jesus Christ that appeared across my windshield, startled me greatly! When I recognized that it was Jesus's hand, I started speaking in tongues or different languages that my friend couldn't even understand. She asked what are you saying? At that point the car started losing control, but it immediately stopped. We were on the Gabriel Tucker bridge, a landmark bridge adjoining Monrovia City and Vai Town. When the car parked, I immediately jumped out and started running confusedly. My friend immediately took me to a lady by the name of Mother Bee, who said that the reason I was acting like that was because I was dealing, meaning I was using something that wasn't of God that was making me run mad, that they should ask me to turn over that medicine to her and I will get well. The spirit of God inside of me got angry and instructed me to leave the place immediately! I immediately started running again, and my friend started running after me again. While running, she caught up with me. The Holy Spirit opened her profile to me and I started revealing deeper things about her that she said only her immediate family knew. Some of what was revealed about her are as follow:

1. That she is a member of the Liberian Poro Society

2. That she was circumcised in the Sandi Bush, and everything taken from her while in that bush grew back. Because of that, she was supposed to go back and serve as a traditional zoe in the Poro Society. She immediately started running from me and calling people, telling them that the Spirit of God was on me.

When this happened, I wasn't a member of a particular church, but my friend Rita and I occasionally visited a prayer band, run by Mother Jaykay, a Prophetess in New Kru Town. So, my friend Rita took me to the late Mother Jaykay. There, she gave me water to bath. While bathing, I continued speaking in tongues and God put a song in my mouth at that moment: "Jehovah Turned My Life Around and Gave Me a New Life." At that moment, I also heard Mother Jaykay's granddaughter asked her, saying to her grandmother, "Is it not the Holy Spirit on Sister Rachel there?" She replied, "Yes, I know, I am just waiting for something to tell her..."

When I got through taking bath, and with a prayer from Mother Jaykay, I left to go home, but I wasn't feeling well so I went to seek medical attention. I went to the Hope for Women Hospital in Paynesville, near where I lived. I was told by the hospital that I can't go home, because my pressure was very high. I was hospitalized and asked for my emergency contact. The hospital informed my sister that my pressure was too high that I needed to be hospitalized, and if I left to go home, I will go into diabetes coma! The condition was very serious!!! Me go into coma? I was very afraid, truth be told.

My sister and the hospital encouraged me to stay. After receiving this diagnosis, I heard the voice telling me that I will not go into coma. I should give my life to Jesus. Either I give my life to Jesus or go back in the world and die! From there the voice instructed me to go into the ER of the hospital to pray for a lady that was sick, even though I hadn't yet accepted the call of God upon my life. So I asked the nurse to go into the ER to pray for the woman. The nurse replied that, "aren't you sorry for yourself, you want to go pray for someone in this state?" I was taken to the ER, where I met a lady on oxygen surrounded by her family, including her husband. The voice instructed me to tell her what was happening to her, what caused it, and what for me to do for her to get her healing back. I informed the family what I was told by the Holy Spirit. I then prayed over water and it was given to the sick woman, who immediately gained consciousness and healing, and woke up. The sick woman and her family began telling me "Thank you Pastor! Thank you Pastor!" Thank you Pastor....," repeatedly! I asked the hospital to discharge me immediately! I was cautioned by the hospital administration not to leave because of my condition. I refused to listen to the warnings of the medical staff at that hospital because the voice that I now come to believe was the mighty voice of God, told me that I will not go into coma and that I wasn't going to die in that hospital. All I needed to do was to answer the call of God and live. Because of this assurance, I refused medical advice and said I was leaving immediately. The hospital made me sign a document to say that the hospital will not be held responsible if anything happens to me upon being discharged unceremoniously! I signed and I was discharged without hindrance.

When I arrived home from the Hope for Women Hospital that day, what I now know was the Spirit of God, was still upon me. I was given a set of instructions by the Spirit of God upon arriving home. I had on a black skintight trouser. When I looked in the mirror at home, I couldn't find my trousers on me, when I looked around to see what was happening to me, where my trousers were, I saw it lying on the floor in three pieces. I didn't personally take it off, but the amazing thing is that no one was with me at home to take off my tight leggings/skintight trousers. While pondering what happened, I heard the voice of God telling me that that kind of dress code wasn't good for me, and it was He who tored my trousers off! And that He was going to change my dress code.

After hearing this voice repeatedly giving me different instructions, I was yet still not comfortable with everything. I was not feeling well the entire time, so I went to God in prayers that night, to petition Him. I asked God in my prayers to confirm if indeed it was Him who was speaking to me. I wanted a sign of confirmation that it was indeed Him speaking to me and that He should reveal himself to me with a sign. I also asked the Lord to reveal Himself to Mother Jaykay and say something to her about me, to serve as a confirmation. The next morning I set on my way to meet with this woman of God. That's how on my way to Mother Jaykay's house, a person appeared to me in the white smoke like clouds riding on the back of a golden chariot, wearing white garments, with a thick wavy hair in a flash. I shouted immediately and started speaking in tongue! Immediately, Mother Jaykay's started speaking in tongues from inside of her house with a loud voice that I could hear from outside. She jumped out to me and said, "INDEED THIS IS THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD THAT'S UPON YOU!"

Few weeks after this event, Mother Jaykay's was informed by a Prophet in an opened Wednesday's service at her church, to anoint me a woman of God, per a message he received from God. But she said no, because I was young and she didn't know if I was willing to accept the call of God. Present with me that day was Pastor Fallah and my friend Rita Tamba, the girl riding with me that day when the nail marked hand appeared on my windshield. Mother Jaykay therefore, didn't anoint me that day until service was over. But about two months later while sitting on the steps at home, I saw two women I didn't know from anywhere wearing white garments, speaking in tongues, saying here's she, with doves sitting on her shoulders and continued speaking in tongues. I was shocked, but I sat quietly. They said that the Lord sent them to anoint me. Then I remembered that the Lord once spoke to me and said that He was going to send someone to anoint me, since Mother Jaykay's refused to do so. AND THEY ANOINTED ME AND LEFT. AND THAT WAS TEN YEARS AGO. I HAVE SINCE NOT SEEN NOR HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THEM AGAIN. Pastor Fallah was even standing there when these strange ladies arrived. Both of us were even afraid because they were strangers. Pastor Fallah even cautioned me about whom I let to put oil on my head, through a whisper in my ears.

Ten years on, I am still alive and well. But ten years on, I am not only alive and well, the called of God upon my life culminated into what's now Power Temple Prophetic Ministry, INC., a bustling church fulfilling my call to ministry, to preach the Good News of the full Gospel of Jesus Christ to all of His people around the world.
